Ezetrol ( Zetia, Generic Ezetimibe ) - Product Origin: Eu (Turkey)

This product is able to be sourced and supplied at excellent prices because of favourable cross border currency conversions. All products are authentic brand names and will include a product information insert in English.Medical Information:Ezetimibe (e-ZET-e-mibe) is used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride (fat-like substances) levels in the blood. Using this medicine may help prevent medical problems caused by such substances clogging the blood vessels.Ezetimibe is a new kind of cholesterol-lowering drug. The older cholesterol-lowering drugs called "statins" reduce cholesterol by interfering with its production in the body. Zetia acts by diminishing the absorption of dietary cholesterol through the intestines.Ezetimibe may be taken alone or with a statin drug. Because the two drugs fight cholesterol in different ways, the Ezetimibe/statin combination has a greater impact than either drug alone.Cholesterol--especially "bad" LDL cholesterol--promotes clogged arteries, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke. "Good" HDL cholesterol helps to prevent clogged arteries. Zetia lowers the bad cholesterol and raises the good. It also lowers total cholesterol readings and reduces levels of triglycerides (fats in the blood).Cholesterol-lowering drugs are typically prescribed for people who either have heart disease or are in danger of developing it. For people at high risk of heart disease, current guidelines call for considering drug therapy when LDL levels reach 130. For people at lower risk, the cut-off is 160. For those at little or no risk, it's 190.Inhibits absorption of cholesterol by the small intestine.Ezetimibe reduces the amount of cholesterol absorbed by the body.Ezetimibe is used to treat high cholesterol. Ezetimibe is sometimes given with other cholesterol-lowering medications.

Reclide ( Vivazide, Starlix, Diaglyk, Diamicron, Generic Gliclazide )

Insulin is produced by the pancreas and is the main hormone responsible for controlling sugar levels in the blood. It normally makes the cells of the body remove excess sugar from the blood. People with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin dependent diabetes) have a deficiency of insulin, and the cells of their bodies are also resistant to the action of insulin. This means that blood sugar levels can become too high. Gliclazide is a type of antidiabetic medicine known as a sulphonylurea. It is used to help lower blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. It works by acting on the cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. These cells are called beta cells, and gliclazide causes them to produce more insulin. Gliclazide improves insulin production immediately after eating. This is called early or first phase insulin secretion, and does not normally happen in people with type 2 diabetes. The enhanced insulin production results in a blood sugar lowering effect in response to meals or glucose, as occurs naturally in non-diabetic people. Gliclazide is used when dietary measures, weight loss and physical exercise are not enough to lower blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes. Gliclazide has been shown to prevent blood cells called platelets from clumping together in the blood. It also increases the breakdown of blood clots that form within the blood vessels. This may help prevent the long-term complications of diabetes, which may be partly due to changes in the blood vessels caused by these mechanisms.

Rozucor ( Rosuvas, Crestor, Generic Rosuvastatin )

Rosuvastatin is used together with lifestyle changes (diet, weight-loss, exercise) to reduce the amount of cholesterol (a fat-like substance) and other fatty substances in your blood. Rosuvastatin is in a class of medications called HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins). It works by slowing the production of cholesterol in the body.Buildup of cholesterol and other fats along the walls of the blood vessels (a process known as atherosclerosis) decreases blood flow and, therefore, the oxygen supply to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body. Lowering blood levels of cholesterol and fats may help to decrease your chances of getting heart disease, angina (chest pain), strokes, and heart attacks. In addition to taking a cholesterol-lowering medication, making certain changes in your daily habits can also lower your cholesterol blood levels. You should eat a diet that is low in saturated fat and cholesterol (see SPECIAL DIETARY), exercise 30 minutes on most, if not all, days and lose weight if you are overweight. Rosuvastatin comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. Take rosuvastatin at around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take rosuvastatin exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Your doctor will probably start you on a low dose of rosuvastatin and gradually increase your dose, not more than once every 2-4 weeks.

Amoxi Apo ( Amoxil, Dispermox, Generic Amoxicillin )

Amoxicillin belongs to a group of antibiotics called penicillins. It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. The injection is used to treat more serious infections, or in cases where the medicine can't be taken by mouth. Amoxicillin works by interfering with the ability of bacteria to form cell walls.
